05/21/2008   CMS Selects Phytel for PQRI Testing Program
Phytel, the leader in automated patient care management, today announced that it has been selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to participate in the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) Registry Pilot Testing Program. Phytel was selected by CMS, along with only a handful of other organizations, to test both the validity of content submissions and the ability to send reports. The purpose of the PQRI testing is to validate registry based reporting as a viable alternative to the process of claims based reporting and increase overall participation in the program.  Download PDF

Phytel has signed a definitive agreement to provide Proactive Patient Outreach for UNT Health; the physician practice entity of the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. UNT Health has nearly 160 physicians that represent almost every medical specialty.
